We are looking for a AWS Infrastructure Manager (m/w) – 100% – Remote to design, implement, and manage our AWS cloud infrastructure. What you will do:

  • Designing and implementing AWS cloud infrastructure solutions to support business applications and services.
  • Managing and optimizing AWS resources to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the health, performance, and security of AWS infrastructure.
  • Developing and implementing automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure management.
  • Collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless application integration and deployment.
  • Ensuring business continuity through robust infrastructure planning and practices.
  • Conducting regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Staying up to date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices to continuously improve our cloud environment.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Defining and implementing CI/CD processes with the development team.

What you will need:

  • Proven experience in managing AWS cloud infrastructure, with a focus on optimizing performance and costs.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture, and industry best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services and how to apply them effectively.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation or CDK.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automating tasks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for smooth deployment and integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
  • Proficiency in English (German and/or Spanish is a plus).
