Office &Custom Assistant (m/w/d) – 100%

We are looking for an Office & Custom Assistant (m/w/d) – 100% to join our team in Rheinfelden (Germany). In this position with a split focus, you will be responsible for a variety of office tasks as well as handling customs-related responsibilities. What you will do:

  • Customs assistant (80%):
    – Prepare and process customs documentation and ensure compliance with
    international customs regulations.
    – Handle the preparation of export and import declarations, ensuring all
    requirements are met.
    – Coordinate with customs brokers and authorities to ensure timely
    clearance of shipments.
    – Monitor and track shipments to ensure adherence to customs processes
    and deadlines.
    – Keep up to date with relevant customs regulations and provide support to
    colleagues regarding customs-related matters.
    – Assist in handling customs audits and ensuring proper documentation is in
    place for inspections.
  • Office assistant (20%):
    -Manage daily administrative tasks, including document preparation, filing,
    and correspondence.
    – Support office organization and supply management.
    – Handle general office communication and liaise with internal teams.

What you will need:

  • Proven experience in an office administration or customs assistant role.
  • Strong knowledge of customs processes and international shipping
    regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and office management software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English and German (spoken and written).
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle documentation with accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
